In keeping with the ethos of ‘Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ being celebrated throughout our country on the occasion of 75^th Independence Day of India, Dr Pramod Pandey, Nation Head of ‘Hindi Academy’ honoured prominent Veterans of Mumbai last year by the Governor of Maharashtra, H.E. Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari. 

Continuing the tradition, this year too prominent Citizens engaged in Social Service to society were honoured in the Press Club by the Hindi Academy. NFMC was adorned with yet another Feather in its multicoloured Hat, when two of its members viz, Commander Angsuman Ojha (Founder Director of IESSCI) and Mrs Meena Dutta (Hon. Official Photographer of NFMC) were selected for the honour this year. The event was held in Press Club on 13 Aug 2022 in the evening, attended by select dignitaries of Mumbai and the media and Press. To grace this Annual event  the Chief guests invited were Dr Anuradha Majumdar (Dean Mumbai Univ), Cmde Biman Mistry, (our revered senior Veteran) and Dr Snehal Pinto (Dir Ryan International group of Institutions)  who were felicitated on stage and later distributed the coveted Awards.

1) Mrs Meena Dutta

 मीना दत्ता ने प्राचीन भारतीय सभ्यता में मास्टर्स डिग्री प्राप्त करने के पश्चात निम्न वर्ग के बच्चों को निशुल्क पढ़ाया। विशाखापत्तनम में अशोक विद्यालय में प्राध्यापक  रह चुकि है। राष्टरिय तैराकी मास्टर्स में  दो रजत पदको की विजेता रह चुकी है। महाराष्ट्र राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर के विद्यार्थियों को सांकृतिक प्रशिक्षण  प्रदान किया, जिस से महाराष्ट्र को गणतंत्र दिवस पर समस्त राज्यों में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ। इन्हे ए डी जी, एन सी सी महाराष्ट्र ने सम्मानित किया । आजकल वे नौसैनिक व्यस्कों की समाज सेवा में व्यस्त हैं । एन एफ एम सी की वे  फोटोग्राफर है और निपुणता और सहजता से उस कार्यभार को संभाल रही हैं। समाज सेवा के इलावा इन्होंने पैरासेलिंग, ट्रेकिंग, स्कीइंग, और तैराकी में निपुणता हासिल की है।

2) Cdr Angsuman Ojha

कमाऺडर ॳगसुमन ओझा, २१ वर्ष, ने नौसेना में कार्यरत रहने के पश्चात IESECCI ki  स्थापना की, इससे उन्होंने सेनानिवृत सैनिकों की हर तरह से मदद की ।

आपने वकालत की डिग्री हासिल की और मुंबई उच्च न्यानालय में वकालत की। आप सैनिक ट्रिब्यूनल में फौजियों की वकालत भी करते हैं।

आपने अनेक सिविलियन और सैनिकों की जिंदगी को बेहतर बनाया।

आप के मार्गदर्शन में IESECCI को महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने कोविड योधा की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया।

The Program commenced with the address by Mr Alok Chaube, VP Hindi Academy, who sang a Patriotic song and initiated the Kavi Sammelan. Enthusiastic rendition of Poetry by famed Poet Mr Mukesh Gautam, instantly established a rapport with the audience and set the hall on laughter roar. It was followed by address and Poetry by Shri Sanjeev Nigam.

The Chief Guests Cmde Biman Mistry, Dr Anuradha Majumdar (Dean Mumbai Univ)  and Dr Snehal Pinto (Dir Ryan group of institutions) were invited on stage, introduced  and felicitated. Cmde Mistry in his impressive speech effectively brought out how Hindi is the common denominator for all regiments and units of the Armed Forces.

The Awards function was smoothly conducted by the Emcee Ms Roma Sharma after which Dr Anuradha Majumdar and Dr Snehal Pinto addressed the gathering. Their speeches were soul stirring and insightful to strengthen the social fabric of our fine nation.
